Whether you think Valentine's Day is a commerical holiday arranged by Hallmark, or you're a hopeless romantic that looks forward to February 14th every year - you end up doing at least something. So why not get a cool life experience and head out for a romantic getaway. Here is meebee's 5 spots for a romantic getaway:
1) Paris: Obvious, right? But it's the "City of Lights" with wine, food, history, art and, well, love. Paris is the world's most visited city and there's a reason why: it has something for everyone. But romantics can kiss in the shadow of Notre Dame or sneak one in after seeing the Mona Lisa. Truly a hot spot for Valentine's Day.
2) Prague: A magical, enchanting city that feels like you're in a fantasy land. During winter, the light snow adds to the romantic appeal of the small European City. Walking the winding, cobblestone streets of Prague, snuggling close to your loved one as large castle looms over you, proves romantic on our list.
3) Seychelles: How could one of the most beautiful locations in the world be left out? The white sand, swooping palm trees and crystal clear tropical waters bring the romance out in all of us. Although it takes a bit to get to these small African islands, it's well worth it once you arrive.

meebee on the move
It’s been several months now since meebee.com “left the hive” and our BEETA site was released to the public. Thanks to your loyal support and the support of others, meebee is quickly growing and starting to receive some great feedback from the public! Since our launch, we have received three figure growth and are showing similar growth to some of the major names on the internet in their early stages. This couldn’t have been possible without your loyal support and consistent use. Your time in each day is invaluable and we applaud you for taking a major step towards improving your life and living it to the fullest! Throughout 2010, meebee is excited to go on a wild ride to the top of the internet realm and to become the go-to site for all of your meetup and scheduling needs. If you keep these 3 points in mind then you will be able to simplify your life as well as help meebee get to the top:
1) MAKE MEETING'S ON A REGULAR BASIS:

2) GET YOUR FRIENDS INVOLVED:
By telling your friends and family about meebee and getting them involved, you will be able to receive the maximum potential that meebee has to offer and will be making meetups as simple as possible. Once they're involved you'll be able to quickly find the best time, place and location to meet with one another. All it takes is a quick meebee request and it's done!
3) HAVE FUN:
meebee is all about saving time and having fun while meeting up. In addition to being able to make meetups through meebee.com, you can change your profile picture, update your status, messages friends and choose a goofy icon! Soon you will be able to add songs, videos, additional pictures and more!

meebee contest: Sharks, fighter jets and F-1s
meebee is launching a new contest in conjunction with Social Media Week, which is taking place this week in London, New York, San Fran, Toronto, Berlin and Sao Paulo.
We were recently recognized as one of the top 100 startups in the world, but we still want to let more people know about our valuable, time-saving site. So to be all the buzz at Social Media Week, we’re firing up some really cool promos.
Signup and get tons of users and you’ll be screaming around in a fighter jet, jumping out of a plane, dodging sharks or drifting in an F-1 race car! Truly once-in-a-lifetime thrills!
Here’s how the contest works:
1) "King/Queen Bee": Prizes for whoever uses the site the most. Send meebee invites for any meetups you’re involved with – sports, work, going out, etc. Prizes go to the people with the most meetings for that month.
2) "The Honeycomber": Prizes to the people who get the most sign ups in the month of February will win prizes. Help build the meebee hive and win crazy life experiences. Just send an email with all your friends who have registered and are now using meebee. Help build the hive - it will help you by saving time and energy.
The contest is on now! So get you and your friends buzzing and start sending out meebee messages ASAP.
You'll soon find how meebee makes meeting easy. It saves so much time and planning that, once in your daily routine, you'll have more time in the morning to sit and enjoy your coffee as opposed to piling through your inbox or catching up on annoying voicemail.
Good luck!

meebee.com the preferred way to meetup during Social Media Week
As many of you already know, the highly anticipated Social Media Week kicks off this Monday, February 1st. It is sure to be a great time and we’re very proud to be involved with such a great event. With seminars, meetings, presentations, lunch-ins and parties happening simultaneously during the worldwide event, it will be easy to get overwhelmed and not know how to start your day. That being said, meebee.com is here to help you maximize your time before, during and after the event. Before you drive yourself nuts scrambling to find the right people to network with during the event – check out our tips below and get the most of your time:
1) Sell yourself first, not your product – Social Media Week will be an excellent networking opportunity and will certainly be a great way to give your company added exposure. However, before you plug your product to no end, take into consideration that building a relationship will be far more effective than simply pushing your product on someone.
2) Simplify – Throughout the week, there will be an overwhelming amount of people to meet, events to attend and tricks to learn, so in an attempt to prevent yourself from getting stressed out, search for ways to use your time most effectively. Pick events that will be the most beneficial to you and your success. Network with individuals that are in some way to connected to your product and you can benefit from one another. Instead of sending and receiving a never ending stream of texts and calls – simply send out a meebee request. 1 meeting can be sent to 3 individuals and covers where, when and why you want to meet. Giving you more time to network and absorb valuable information

Save time, money and hassle with meebee
Does this lady look like she's having fun? Didn't think so.
Sure, cell phones are useful. And in this day and age, it's hard to imagine being without one. But a cell phone costs an average of $70 per month. You have start up fees, monthly fees, text fees and additional minute fees. Too much! They are handy, but they can also cause a relentless game of phone tag just to have coffee with a good friend. Or wasting time on back and forth SMSes just trying to arrange a good day/time/place to meetup with your date (that cute chick you met last week). Using meebee, you can save about 18 minutes a day - and believe it or not - that gives you an extra 1 week holiday every year!
So why not give meebee.com a try? It's free. $0. Nada. Zilch. And takes only 20 seconds to set up a meeting (check out the video here). Plus, you can control all your privacy setting so it's a safe way to connect with people you enjoy spending time with. Then the meebee bee takes it from there - your very own PA or virtual assistant.

Keep Your New Year's Resolutions: Stay Organized
It's a bit past a week since the turn of 2010. How are you upholding your New Year's Resolutions? Didn't think so. Most of us aren't, so we did a little Googling to find tips and tricks to help fulfill our goals. We came across an article in the Wall Street Journal about an artist and writer who was so disorganized that she "spent much of her time looking for misplaced supplies in her office clutter." And now, a year after making her New Year's Resolution in 2009 to get organized, she is keeping her clutter down and managing her deadlines. She says, to quote the article, "my life is so much easier."
It's always refreshing to hear stories of people getting and staying organized, let alone the positive impact it makes on their life. And that's the value of meebee.com - it's a safe, simple tool to help anyone save time and effort, letting you focus on the better things in life. See for yourself in this rundown of meebee.com, alongside Microsoft Movie Maker and GoogleWave

Americans now sending over 4 Billion Texts Daily
Believe it or not, that isn’t a type-o in our title. According to a recent report created by the CTIA, 740 Billion text messages were sent in the first half of 2009. This works out to over 4 billion text messages being sent each day! You can argue that people should stop texting and pick up a phone instead but this can be just as time consuming, if not worse. Also, if you’re anything like us and have friends all over the globe then it can get quite expensive. With these exorbitant numbers you have to question how this has become the preferred method of communication. It’s obviously not to due to saving time – 4 Billion texts daily comes with the hefty price tag of your valuable time each day. So what do we do? If you think we’re going to suggest using meebee…then you’re right. But come on, instead of wasting countless hours each week trying to meet with friends, sending and responding to texts that rarely result in getting a definite answer; you could be sending out 3 options at a time to multiple friends at once. It takes less than a minute and your job is done! So before that number climbs to 5 billion texts a day, think about how you could be saving time and give meebee a shot!
