Does Facebook Save Time or Waste it?

Here at meebee, we’re always thinking of new ways to manage your time effectively and make life easier, which recently sparked the debate at the hive – Does Facebook save time or waste it?

According to Facebook.com, there are currently more than 350 million people that actively use the site, 35 million users update their Facebook status daily and the average member spends at least 55 minutes a day on the site writing posts, checking e-mails, poking, etc.! The site has definitely helped connect people in more ways than one; however, with the time it takes to write an e-mail, create an event/meeting and write on your buddies wall, you would think that there’s a more efficient way of staying connected and saving time.

Let me ask you this: Do you find yourself thinking about Facebook while at work, school, sporting events, on a date etc..? If you write a post on someone’s wall... do you over analyze it and then think about the different reasons why they haven’t responded? Are you constantly trying to think of something clever and witty to say on your status during your free time?!
