The Art of Multi-Tasking

Whether you're a frantic college student trying to find time to cram in a last minute paper, a busy exec. who needs to complete a never ending array of reports or a mom who has to go to work, drop your kids off at school, pick your kids up from school and prepare a delicious dinner all by 5pm, the fact of the matter is everyone could you some extra help with multi-tasking and saving time throughout their day. Here at meebee.com, we realize that each day moves by extremely fast and can often leave to added stress and incomplete goals. That being said, it's important to stay organized and take any help you can get. meebee.com can be used in many different ways for many different professions. Because you're so busy we have compiled a list of different professions and lifestyles and how using meebee can help!

1) The Super Mom: Instead of banking on your child’s "less than perfect" memory and waiting an extra hour for them after each practice or school event - start sending out meebee meetup's as a reminder of where and when you're coming. (It's much cooler than the note written on the lunch napkin...we promise)

2) The Slacker: The key to being a successful slacker is by putting forth as little effort as possible and getting a lot in return. So instead of cutting out valuable PS3 and X-Box playing time to send out back and forth texts and calls trying to figure out when you're available to mingle with your fellow slacker friends - simply send out a quick meebe invite and give yourself more time to do...well... nothing!

What do you LOVE?

Yes, Valentine's Day is over. Some of you are relieved, some of you couldn't careless. And maybe some of you are still "in the mood." So, since February is the month of love, we're going take that theme and put a little twist on it.  What do you LOVE? Not who, but what? Could be anything: reading, partying, studying, traveling, spending time with friends and family - what cool life experiences do you LOVE to do? (win one here with our latest promo)

At the Hive we did a quick breakdown of what we LOVE about meebee, as well as what we would LOVE about meebee given a few enhancements. A few of each:

What we LOVE about meebee
No back and forth hassle in writing up emails arranging the time/date/place to meetup
Its fun, stylish design
The ability to use icons to make meetups even quicker
Customizable - add your pic and use emoticons
Integration of Google Maps
The bee, of course!

And things we'd LOVE to have (that are coming soon!):
iPhone app
Add video, pics and music to meetings
Smooth syncing with more apps

What do you think? We're still in the BEETA stage, so we'd love to hear what you have to say!

No worries. meebee.com once again comes to the rescue and compiled a fine of list minute gifts to save you from being in the doghouse - 5 tried and true Valentine's Day gifts.

Dinner out - most places will be full this late in the game, but a few off-the-beaten path restaurants will still have a cozy table for two.

Home-cooked meal - Restaurants totally booked? Fear not, mix up a home-cooked meal. The extra effort, heart and sweat will show your loved one how much you care.  Get a heart-shaped slab of steak from Henry's Market.

Candles and Roses - Classic, a little cheesy, but still effective.  Both can be found most anywhere, even it's the day of.  Surprise them with a candlelit room decorated with roses.  Or, a single long-steam rose works wonders, too.

Valentine's Day: 5 Spots for a Romantic Getaway

Whether you think Valentine's Day is a commerical holiday arranged by Hallmark, or you're a hopeless romantic that looks forward to February 14th every year - you end up doing at least something. So why not get a cool life experience and head out for a romantic getaway. Here is meebee's 5 spots for a romantic getaway:

1) Paris: Obvious, right? But it's the "City of Lights" with wine, food, history, art and, well, love.  Paris is the world's most visited city and there's a reason why: it has something for everyone.  But romantics can kiss in the shadow of Notre Dame or sneak one in after seeing the Mona Lisa. Truly a hot spot for Valentine's Day.

2) Prague: A magical, enchanting city that feels like you're in a fantasy land.  During winter, the light snow adds to the romantic appeal of the small European City.  Walking the winding, cobblestone streets of Prague, snuggling close to your loved one as large castle looms over you, proves romantic on our list.

3) Seychelles: How could one of the most beautiful locations in the world be left out? The white sand, swooping palm trees and crystal clear tropical waters bring the romance out in all of us. Although it takes a bit to get to these small African islands, it's well worth it once you arrive.
