meebee.com the preferred way to meetup during Social Media Week

As many of you already know, the highly anticipated Social Media Week kicks off this Monday, February 1st. It is sure to be a great time and we’re very proud to be involved with such a great event. With seminars, meetings, presentations, lunch-ins and parties happening simultaneously during the worldwide event, it will be easy to get overwhelmed and not know how to start your day. That being said, meebee.com is here to help you maximize your time before, during and after the event. Before you drive yourself nuts scrambling to find the right people to network with during the event – check out our tips below and get the most of your time:

1) Sell yourself first, not your product – Social Media Week will be an excellent networking opportunity and will certainly be a great way to give your company added exposure. However, before you plug your product to no end, take into consideration that building a relationship will be far more effective than simply pushing your product on someone.

2) Simplify – Throughout the week, there will be an overwhelming amount of people to meet, events to attend and tricks to learn, so in an attempt to prevent yourself from getting stressed out, search for ways to use your time most effectively. Pick events that will be the most beneficial to you and your success. Network with individuals that are in some way to connected to your product and you can benefit from one another. Instead of sending and receiving a never ending stream of texts and calls – simply send out a meebee request. 1 meeting can be sent to 3 individuals and covers where, when and why you want to meet. Giving you more time to network and absorb valuable information

Save time, money and hassle with meebee

Does this lady look like she's having fun? Didn't think so.

Sure, cell phones are useful.  And in this day and age, it's hard to imagine being without one.  But a cell phone costs an average of $70 per month. You have start up fees, monthly fees, text fees and additional minute fees. Too much!  They are handy, but they can also cause a relentless game of phone tag just to have coffee with a good friend. Or wasting time on back and forth SMSes just trying to arrange a good day/time/place to meetup with your date (that cute chick you met last week). Using meebee, you can save about 18 minutes a day - and believe it or not - that gives you an extra 1 week holiday every year!

So why not give meebee.com a try? It's free. $0. Nada. Zilch.  And takes only 20 seconds to set up a meeting (check out the video here).  Plus, you can control all your privacy setting so it's a safe way to connect with people you enjoy spending time with.  Then the meebee bee takes it from there - your very own PA or virtual assistant.

Keep Your New Year's Resolutions: Stay Organized

It's a bit past a week since the turn of 2010. How are you upholding your New Year's Resolutions? Didn't think so. Most of us aren't, so we did a little Googling to find tips and tricks to help fulfill our goals. We came across an article in the Wall Street Journal about an artist and writer who was so disorganized that she "spent much of her time looking for misplaced supplies in her office clutter." And now, a year after making her New Year's Resolution in 2009 to get organized, she is keeping her clutter down and managing her deadlines. She says, to quote the article, "my life is so much easier."

It's always refreshing to hear stories of people getting and staying organized, let alone the positive impact it makes on their life. And that's the value of meebee.com - it's a safe, simple tool to help anyone save time and effort, letting you focus on the better things in life. See for yourself in this rundown of meebee.com, alongside Microsoft Movie Maker and GoogleWave

Americans now sending over 4 Billion Texts Daily

Believe it or not, that isn’t a type-o in our title. According to a recent report created by the CTIA, 740 Billion text messages were sent in the first half of 2009. This works out to over 4 billion text messages being sent each day! You can argue that people should stop texting and pick up a phone instead but this can be just as time consuming, if not worse. Also, if you’re anything like us and have friends all over the globe then it can get quite expensive. With these exorbitant numbers you have to question how this has become the preferred method of communication. It’s obviously not to due to saving time – 4 Billion texts daily comes with the hefty price tag of your valuable time each day. So what do we do? If you think we’re going to suggest using meebee…then you’re right. But come on, instead of wasting countless hours each week trying to meet with friends, sending and responding to texts that rarely result in getting a definite answer; you could be sending out 3 options at a time to multiple friends at once. It takes less than a minute and your job is done! So before that number climbs to 5 billion texts a day, think about how you could be saving time and give meebee a shot!
